Planet in motion

60% of our products use more responsible materials, reducing the environmental impact of our collections. Our teams work daily to select certified organic, recycled, or responsibly sourced materials, which now make up the majority of our collections:

+ 57% of our polyamide and polyester is recycled

+ 76% of our viscose comes from sustainably managed forests

In order to reduce our direct emissions (scopes 1 and 2), we have worked on improving the energy efficiency of our offices, warehouses and stores. Between 2019 and 2024, energy consumption was reduced by 22%. Our premises in France, Belgium, Spain and Poland are now powered by renewable energy.

To reduce our direct emissions (scope 3), we have employed the following protocols:

+ Choosing organic or recycled materials
+ Limiting air travel
+ Using innovations in textile manufacturing processes
+ Reducing the use of single-use plastics

Our goal

2030 - to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions/unit produced by 40% aligning with the Paris Agreement

We strictly prohibit the use of banned chemicals and chemicals under investigation in the manufacturing of our products. The list of prohibited substances is regularly updated by our teams who carry out tests and checks to ensure compliance with this rule.

We require Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certificates from our suppliers, which prohibits cruel practices towards animals, or letters of commitment including traceability back to the primary material supplier (farmers). Exotic furs and skins, as well as materials from endangered animals, are prohibited.

sublimation

Used for years to print patterns, sublimation technology has been repurposed by Etam to print solid colors after two years of R&D. Ink is applied directly into fabric fibers, avoiding the need for dye baths, reducing water waste by 100% when dying solid colors.

We have worked closely with our key suppliers to reduce the dyeing phase for polyamide products in shades of beige.

This innovation reduces carbon emissions by 77% compared to conventional dyeing methods.

Our mission is to provide support and ease to women through innovative solutions, including collections of menstrual panties and swimwear that combine comfort, effectiveness, and sustainability.
We use rigorous laboratory testing processes to ensure our period panties and swimwear pieces are free from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This process consists of:

 

+ Carrying out tests by independent, accredited laboratories + Regularly checking finished products + Preference towards mechanically processed textiles: to reduce the use of chemicals + Carefully selecting materials that have not been manufactured using PFAS
